I’ve been doing freelance translation work for over a decade and am fluent in English, French and Italian. I usually work from French or Italian into English, but have occasionally worked the other way around. I love the idiosyncrasies of language and always pay close attention to context, formality, nuances, idioms and the way writing “sounds” to readers. My goal is to be faithful to the spirit of the original text, while allowing for cultural adjustments that better resonate with readers in another language.

I’ve written and edited press releases for major fashion brands and worked extensively with Condé Nast Italy, producing original branded content and translations for La Cucina Italiana and Vogue Italia, among others. I also worked closely with the editors of Grazia magazine in Italy on these three bilingual collector’s issues , translating dozens of pieces by well-known authors and journalists.
