Fluent in English, French and Italian, I have conducted interviews in all three. I've also studied Spanish, German, Russian and Japanese at the introductory level.
My freelance translation work has covered a variety of topics. In Milan, I collaborated with the Corriere della Sera during the Italian elections in 2008, translating coverage from Italian into English as updates were posted online. Working inside different fashion houses, and as a correspondent for WWD, I also gained significant experience translating technical terms related to textiles and design. Most recently, I've been translating French and Italian news articles into English for Worldcrunch, the global news website, and editing the work of other translators.
Whether transcribing and translating an interview or working from existing text, I always pay close attention to idioms and nuances in meaning, and strive for the highest level of accuracy.
